My career as a tutor began in 2009. I started it by teaching SAT to high school students, and I figured out that I really enjoy being a tutor by setting my goals as to help my student learn, develop effective studying habits and ultimately see them becoming more like an independent learner. From last year, I also started working with pre-school kids, elementary/middle school students as well, teaching English, Math, and helping them with school assignments/preparing for school exams and quizzes. I scored 1980 on my SAT, and I took AP English Composition, AP Government, and AP Calculus when I was in High school. Among high school students I had taught, some of them got into UW, Seattle, WSU, Florida Institute of technology with full ride, and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Hi! My name is Jasmine:) My hobbies are listening to music and reading magazine/newspaper/novel. I am very fond of music. When I am free, I often listen to my favorite songs from an old cassette recorder. At weekends, I usually go to second-hand music shops in the Fremont area to buy good CDs. Of the famous pop singers, I prefer Michael Jackson the most! I also spend an hour after dinner reading news, novels, and magazines, such as Time or Wall Street Journal. As a political science major student, I particularly enjoy reading the "New York Time" because it broadens my knowledge of the world.
