Experience
I've always wanted to combine my love of the arts and education, and I've been fortunate to do so for a majority of my career. I'm a positive and professional motivator with a strong desire to see other people - especially youth - succeed. I taught dance and drama and tutored in general education for grades K-12 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound from 2010-2014. A SAG-AFTRA member since 2008, I've worked in front of and behind the scenes on over 500 video, dance, and theater productions. Teaching experience includes several years of dance workshops with various elementary through university level schools as well as local theaters and studios. Professional dance instructor 2006-present. Independent Film, corporate video, documentary producer from 2003-present. My strongest tutoring positions are going to be in English, History, Math, and the Performing and Visual Arts. In high school, I completed several honors and AP courses. I completed general math, pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, and college level calculus. In addition to my educational course background, I have strong business, leadership, and marketing skills. These skills were developed from serving on several boards and councils in high school, college, alumni, and professional associations as well as serving as a marketing specialist for various dance and film programs.
