Hi, I'm Tim. I currently live in Federal Way, Washington. My pursuit of higher education led me to Western Washington University and Pacific Lutheran University. I am available to tutor in all subjects related to English, including essay editing, writing, reading, literature, grammar and mechanics, and college essays. I am also equipped to help with math and standardized test prep.I began tutoring in 1999 and have been tutoring since. My experience has primarily been with late middle schoolers and high schoolers. I also spent three years tutoring in South Korea. I believe what makes me an effective tutor is my ability to use different techniques in teaching. I understand that every student learns in a different way, so I use a variety of tools and techniques to engage students.
